Folks, here's a story that's almost unbelievable. The other day, Wednesday to be exact, I'm working on renovating my front heater. Dash is all apart, heater box all over the work bench, out comes the heater core and it looks ugly, rotten and disintegrating from corrosion and whatever, none in stock here and what to do. I try testing it for leaks by hooking it up to my air supply and submerging it in a pail of water, tiny bubbles coming from many locations, it's TOAST and I need a replacement soon. So around 1 ~ 2 pm I get on the phone and start calling all over to find one. My OE vee dub catalogue says they have them. A call to them and speaking to Greg he says they have them, newly made from quality brass and are rebuildable, how much and can you get it to me soon ?, yes he says, try FedEx and go for $100 or less for the shipping. OK. Well, Thursday around noon the FedEx truck pulls in my drive and delivers that heater core ! I cannot believe it. Upon examination it sure looks like quality stuff, a "REAL" heater core from days gone by. From an early Wednesday afternoon phone call to OE vee dub in Colorado to a delivered in my hands package in Almonte, Ontario the next day ! WoW ! So what did all that cost may be your question ?, well, the heater core was $325.00 USD, and $75.78 USD S&H by FedEx. Not too bad and by the end of the afternoon yesterday I had that heater back together and in the van. Dash not fully re-installed yet, today's job. So, if you need parts see OE vee dub, _www.oeveedub.com_ (http://www.oeveedub.com) , 800-369-4979 or 719-748-5240. They ARE the good guys ! And I was ready to bolt back the steering wheel so I could get the van out of the garage to work on other customers vans, no need for that now !

Cheers,
