I have sold two out of my three Syncro SVX Carat vans to very well known arists in the music industry. One found me on the Samba forums and the other from the Vanagon Rescue Squad. Both wanted the vans ready for anything and paid for that type of custom work. I have seen pictures of them with the vans after selling them. Didn't see a bulter in the pics though.

There was a dude on the list a few years ago who tricked out a Syncro with a hardtop for Jimmy Buffet --- there's probably a celebrity vanagon list that folks like me aren't welcome on :-)

And perhaps they are all followed by the butler in the flatbed towtruck --- at a discrete distance of course............

Cheers, Doug
