Yes,I meant 3/8 size. It is the elbow that screws into the propex heater so
I can run
3/8 all the way to the four way after my regulator. I am considering now
just adding
an auxillary bottle under the pass-side to fuel just the propex heater. I do
have one
of the stayaways hooked up now but I when I used the heater last winter I
removed
the stove,fridge and three way T. I capped the stove and fridge lines off
and just
had the heater coming off the tank/stayway combination. . It was a bit of a
rush job as we were going camping in a couple days for last Thanksgiving and
I just wanted heat. Not having any idea how much propane was still in the
tank as it was still a new Westy to
us I brought along a barbecue tank. I had enough gas for about three
weekends of camping and finally ran out in the middle of the night. As we
had gotten used to sleeping
with lightweight bags I had to go out and hook up the tank. I was worried
that the line would have a hard time priming itself and I didn't have the
stove hooked up to help at
all (which I don't think would do much anyways). The heater cycled twice
then fired
right up with that low murrr noise it makes out of the exhaust pipe. Sweet
sound when
its cold out and man does the van cool down quick.
