Mr Knoll makes a good point about the warmth provided by even a small flame. I routinely light the inside of van with a couple small Dietz wick lanterns (http://www.lanternnet.com/dietz.com.htm). One hung from the accessory shelf next to the bench, the other from the poptop push-up bar. Inexpensive to buy, cheap to run. The light provides a nice ambiance, and the warmth is feelable. That's a word, isn't it? Feelable?
