Having installed the same Suburban type heater in the same spot a few years
back keep in mind that the vent/intake comes out real close to where the van
body panel starts
to curve in. It put out plenty of heat and with a diverter on the front of
the heater it worked
really well with the lower bed down. I now have a propex in our new to us
westy. It only took a little over an hour to install under the rear seat. I
plan on moving it over to the
watertank cabinet this winter sometime. I may move my propane tank over to
the pass
side of the van at the same time to help offset some of the weight.
