Fellow VW'rs,

I am looking to buy a 1991 Vanagon Carat.
64,000 mi. on new engine, 145,000 miles on body.
I am buying the van to gypsy style travel in, I need reliability or my lady
might never buy a vanagon again (with this man at least)!

I need a list of things to look for.
What specific tools/instruments do I need?
