Correct me if I'm wrong but pulling the d-shaft requires a little more than
pulling 8 bolts with either a combination of two wrenches or sockets or what
you have at your disposal for the both the bolt and nut.

You also have to loosen - not remove, the mounting bolt of the front final
drive as well as loosen the bolts of the final drive mounting bracket.  The
drive shaft won't drop otherwise.

As noted - it would be quicker and easier to fix the tire separately or take
a tire from the rear and put it on the front and put the spare on the back.
Not the best scenario but better than having the undersized spare on the
front.
