Don't even get me started on the side-mounted gen sets. There's a reason why those rattly whining pieces of junk are always mounted on the driver's side of the RV and not the passenger (camping) side: If the generator was mounted on the camping side then the owners of the RV would go mad from the sound if they were outside. However, it is apparently okay to point the thing at the neighbor's camp.
