Wow, that is brilliant.
The most tedious and frustrating thing about "changing hats" often is
pulling everything out of the vehicle and putting in the stuff for your
'other' task.
I keep all my cycling gear aboard my 84 topless camper and I also use it as
a daily driver..Good combo, because sometimes I get done with my town trips
and find myself with an hour or two to ride...the bikes and wheels and
clothing are all right there inside the van. But when I have to do a work
job, it often means pulling all the cycle gear out and putting in the
tools. It's difficult to not forget something. If I had another van, I
could stayed "tooled-up" and bike ready..
Only drawback is having to insure that many vehicles...It's too bad the
insurance industry wouldn't be willing to 'stipulate' to the fact that you
can only drive one vehicle at a time and sell you a 'multi-vehicle' policy
of some sort that covers you for driving one vehicle at a time...Nope,
they'll only sell you multiple policys for multiple vans and charge multiple
full premiums..."It's just business"("plus, we bought enough legislation so
we CAN do anything we want, and you're required by law to buy our product")
