No. Just when it's the dark of night, on a lonely back road, and there are no tools, you do what you gotta do. And at the time, I had no way to deal with a potential leak. I was just trying to get to a garage to get the bloody thing fixed. Perhaps not the best way - but you gotta do what you gotta do!
