Battery voltage! Controlled by contact on starter solenoid and the "thermal time switch". Very simple circuit but polarity of the two wires on the TTS is extremely important. Is only used for cold starting under ~40f.

Is there any info on the voltage a cold start valve operates at on a 1982 Westy air cooled fuel injection system?
