If he'd kept going, he would have reached Battle Mountain Nevada, 
voted the armpit of america in 2001.  I had the pleasure of passing 
through BM (hehe) in 2003 but headed north to Idaho before reaching 
Wendover.  Too bad.  Sounds like i missed a nice part of the country. (Wendover)
