dear power windows i do not know if this applies .. indeed i may be way off base with this ... i used to have a ford product with power windows ... one day they stopped working i could hear the motor turning and some sort of gears grumbling ... but no up or down

so i pulled the morot to have a look ... a knuckle buster extraordinaire ...and i have to drill holes to gain access to some nuts

so i get the whole thing apart and open up the grears area around the stem that drives the window up down inside is absolute mush with the grease ... little bits of some sort of plastic ... so i yank off one of the other that is working and there are these ball shaped bits ... these shapes run around the off centre tri-angle shaped driver .... so when it works the tri-angle driver turns the balls and they transfer the energy to an outside gear that cranks the window i believe this set up is called a planetary gear ... so i need new planets as it were to get it working again... where i am working the guy collects old cutting boards that he buys at garage sales ... these are valuable bits of corion or teflon ..etc so i cut myself out new pieces and use the grinding wheel and sand belt to refine into shape placed into the lace where the old ones were ... fresh wheel bearing grease ... and zoom zoom .. up and down went the window me happy then ... so i am unsure if this fix applies to the vangon power window ... but from what i can see of the pictures ... it appears to be of similar engineering yours
