Thanks Greg. I'm probably being a bit overreactive to this - since I've only driven it a whole 5 minutes and let it idle for maybe 10.

I'm going to drive it tonight and I'll see what happens. I suspect it will be fine - I wouldn't say the noise sounds like hammers but it's noticeable for sure.

I've been without it for some time now - lucky that I have a good support network and have had transportation available - but I sure have missed my bus and the independence of my daily ride.

I figure by the time Corn comes around next year these questions will be a distant memory :)
