Check the archives for various solutions to the floor mount problem.

Yes, there is a 5-speed available with a dogleg first. Top gear is
usually the same as the 4-speed. You also need to get the linkage and
shifter for a proper conversion. The 5-speed might sound cool but not
cost effective unless you are changing ratios as well IMHO.
