No update on the brakes. Got a 1988 Mercury Sable that is giving me fits with the computer/O2 sensor and now the trans jerking when in reverse. Don't want to drive the Vanagon until I get the motor mounts and trans mount fixed because we have a 1 mile dirt road and the exhaust pipes are already resting on the motor mounting bar. Engine vibration and road vibration will just hammer the pipe against the bar and right now I don't know what damage that would do. Better to prevent the damage than drive it around as part of the testing. I will let the group know when I find anything out.
