It is not at all sexist or inappropriate Ben, it is reality, I have my Honda generator for my wife, simple point of fact.  Do I use it, sure, but why do I have it, because even without a shower for 3-4 days, she feels the need to plug in a hair straightener "flat iron", whatever that may be, in the morning when camping, and a hair dryer when we do finally shower.  That is the simple reason I have the generator, so she will go camping with me.  Do I like having it, yeah at times, but I have it for her, she'd be the first to admit it.  She is smarter than me, makes more money than me, cares FAR more about her appearance than me, but takes 60 minutes every morning, even when camping doing whatever it is she does every morning.  Every woman I've ever been with in a long term relationship has done the same.  It takes me 5 minutes to roll in the morning.  But until I got my little Moo-latte on the stove capucino maker, I admittedly occasionally carried a cheapy little 110V one to use off the generator, so perhaps I'm no different.  I tent camped backwoods nowhere as a minimalist for 15-20 years, now I'm 40, overeducated, tired, and overweight and don't, but if I'm driving a bus or vanagon, I will spoil myself a bit, that is the whole point of doing it, and I don't mind if she does as well.   So I'll rephrase my statement.   I don't need one, but MY wife often does.  Sorry for the generalization volks.     John

Just a bit is sensitivity please. Remarks as those below are not considered acceptable in work places and can get you into a pickle here too.
