Hello Volks,

The time has come for me and my beloved 1988 Vanagon GL to part ways. It makes me sad to see an old friend go, but it is sitting, not getting driven, and is in too nice of shape to be doing so. We have a brand new Westy now, so the GL is getting neglected. The details:

1988 Vanagon GL 157,XXX miles on original engine and VW heads All the below work was done at 156,000ish miles: New head gaskets and all new seals/gaskets (including front pulley seal, and rear main seal) New water pump New fuel lines w/ SS clamps New sensors (coolant, oil, tempII) New radiator New brakes, front pads & rotors and back shoes (turned drums and painted black por-15) New clutch, flywheel was ground down as well New upper ball joints New cap, rotor, wires, plugs 5 almost new Michelin LTX M/S tires mounted on painted steel rims (these are arguably safe, but have gotten me around just fine) Also has a newer battery from LesSchwab Front wheel bearing replaced New rear shocks Has the black fiberglass bumpers that are in really good condition and trailer hitch Power windows that work Power mirrors that work Power locks work (the rear is sticky, currently always unlocked, needs attention) Has the front captains chairs, middle seats, rear Z bed, and rear cushion Has A/C but the belt is disconnected. The pump works, but I the system needs to recharged. Asking $4000 OBO All reasonable offers will be entertained.

Van is located in Everett, WA. Email me if you want more details, thanks!

Zoltan can vouch for all the work done. He was kind enough to take me under his wing and show me the ropes!
