Well, had another cold night. Still working on the Sable wiring (broken wires in ground to computer and O2 sensor and broken 12v wire to radiator fan as well as shorting connector wires on purge valve so far) but when I went to crank up the LED generator flashlight that I keep in the Vanagon, there was brake fluid on the floor. Sure enough, the brake light switch leaked but it only seems to do it when the night is really cold (in the 30's). Normally I would think this would only happen when things got hot and expanded unless things contracted creating more pressure in the master cylinder. Guess I will be ordering replacement switches. This may or may not be the actual cause of the pedal to the floor. William |
