RE: Powerpole connectors for jump starting Great setup, compact and versatile. But I have often found that Murpys Law gets in the way, that the vehicle that needs the assistance is parked in just the wrong place or angle to get up next to it with normal length jumpers. I carry a jump start pack and have used it many more times for other vehicles than I have in the Westy. It also has the advantage of being a portable 12v power source for other things (and is my standard supply for my telescope setups). And it can be charged underway with the included 12v charging cable or from 110v at home or in campgrounds. Disadvantage is that it takes up space.
