I think the hose you mean has a banjo fitting at the pump and draws fluid to the pump (low pressure). If this is the case, you might make a repair with a length of hose and a coupler and clamps. If not easily repaired, you're looking for p/n 251 422 887 E.

Use Dextron3 or a synthetic ATF and bleed the system with the engine running moving the steering wheel from stop to stop a few times. Refill as needed.
