Subject: request for ideas - Iltis headlights
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed

A couple of years ago I bought 9 Iltis headlights (great price!) at a govt. auction. I thought I could use them as spare H4 units but they are only 6.5" in diameter, and the mounting tabs and mounting system on light and bracket is different. BTW they do have that neat little black tab that allows "deep dipping" for covert ops :)

So they have been sitting on shelf, 2 traded away, one cut out of its metal bracket, leaving 6 intact units. Apart from selling them, anyone out there have any ideas on how to mount them on van? Maybe find a housing that fits?
