Subject: Carat pop-out table latch info needed
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

I've never had the pleasure of sitting in any 7-passenger carat/Wolfsburg van other than my own. So I'm having some trouble using my imagination and the pawcity of images I found on thesamba's gallery to figure out how the pop-out table is supposed to latch. Mine is missing the spring-loaded washer assembly although I do have the latch post and, thankfully, a working rotating cawl with its tiny BB and spring.

So after some experiments with simple springs and washers, I suspect there's more to it: a spacer or some other specialty washer must be involved. Can anyone enlighten me, or point me to available replacement parts? My table latches and unlatches unpredictably as it is now.

Cheers, Peter '89 Wolfsburg Bluestar Chico, CA
