They are not priced that much higher than stock US-spec Vanagon
lenses. You might be confusing USED parts pricing as many used stock
lenses have been flooding the market because people are going back to
round headlights such as in the SA grills. The e-code lenses are not
priced out of line even in the Rice Rocket market. My friend with a
Toyota Previa made the same complaint when he bought 'JDM' lenses. You
can hardly compare your ole Dachshund Broadster which uses generic
round headlights. Pricing e-codes with multiple applications as in the
pre-86 Vanagons should be comparably less expensive.
