Here's another item in the development phase at Airhead Parts/VWG for the past 6 months for ALL of the adjuster pieces. First sample proofs a couple of months ago were very good with a minor "chink" here and there. Another sample proof is due in shortly and if approved we'll go into production for early 2010 (we're shooting for a spring debut). We're not doing brass or any metal, but a higher grade of nylon plastic that doesn't degrade. -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On Thu, Nov 19, 2009 at 12:38 PM, David Beierl <dbeierl@attglobal.net>wrote: > Dear Volks, > On my recent travels I lost a headlight; in the process of replacing > the bulb(s) I took a fast look at the adjusters. > > The major reason for the trip was to bring home the second half of my > little machine shop which I expect to start setting up immediately; > and looking at those adjusters I see no reason why I couldn't come up > with something to replace them.
