<html><body><span style="font-family:Verdana; color:#000000; font-size:10pt;">A couple of things to check:<br><br>Make sure the ground wires are clean and tight at the left engine compartment and on the engine, paying close attention to the one nearly under the A/C bracket. If this one is loose it will run rich.<br><br>Another thing to test is your Temp Sensor, it's in the thermostat housing and is held in with a clip and sealed with an oring. You should use a VOM to test the resistance. Cold you should see 2500-3000 ohms and hot it should be more like 250-300 ohms. This littly thing controls the mixture under all conditions.<br><br>And lastly check around for air leaks.
