Ya know David, I am not sure you should have said that on the list...
but...
4 years ago I lost my father to a burst aneurysm on the aorta between
his heart and stomach. It was a month of hell and if you would have
made the same pronouncement, I would have agreed. His chances were
slim and none and I am not sure putting him through a month of ICU was
the best way to handle it, as if we really had a choice.
So all my best wishes to the family. If you haven't gone through this
particular pain. please be quiet.
