Talked to the seller, Jack. Says he imported it from Germany (he's
military,) it's a burgundy, automatic, with working a/c and cruise
control.....180K, oh and a liquid cooled pancake motor. Also says no
rust, never driven in winter and called it 'mint' and 'all VW.' When I
heard all VW, I lost interest. Ha kidding, but I did call because you
never know when something like this turns up to be a real score. I'm
just too far away to consider a 7 passenger auto in Michigan, but it
could be a very good find for someone local. It really might have no
rust and be mint. Quien sabe....right? The seller sounds like a nice
guy........
