But you'll have to do that camperistic stuff alone with the boyquota! Whereas with your vanagon you'll have the wonderful company of a lot of other people.

At Buses by the Beach - a camping event in Michigan nowhere near any beach worth mentioning - they used to sell lovely t-shirts that said something like "old VW bus $1000, spare parts $xxx, camping with all your vanagon friends priceless"

Well, those weren't exactly the words, but you get the idea.
