Up here in wetland Vancouver Island, Malahat Auto Wreckers has a limited vanagon selection. About 10 last time I checked (month ago) and another one was on its way that day. Most, if not all, of those 10 have been in the yard for a while.

The vans are pretty well picked over, but still some late model camping stuff, and some suspension parts and body parts. I'd say about 1/3 have fire damage.

I asked about the vanagon scarcity and was told by worker that they were diverting a lot of their incoming wrecks to the Nanaimo division, so if there are any listmembers up there, have a look and see what's what.

One pity about Malahat is that they don't seem to take much care over westy vanagons. Stuff out there in the rain, snow, and sometimes sun :)

oh and the wasps...
