Yeah, yeah -- I thought the dipstick was under the car somewhere.

I have been remiss about checking oil and fluid. And have a miserable memory about where things are tucked under the engine cover. I was a lot more familiar with my 71 aircooled loaf. This thing has too many hoses and pipes and things.
