LOL!

As an old coconut husker, I can vouch for the tastiness of the juice & meat. My dad used to pay moi 10 cents a piece for a husked coconut as a child. Simply place a yard pick in the ground & whack the coconut on the protruding pick end to pull off the husks-takes awhile, but worth it. Unfortunately, coconuts are a natural laxative, so eat in moderation.

I believe that rare Tasmanian spotted throat thrushes are especially good at it, but don't know about goldfinches or swallows.

YMMV,

Mr. BZ-good thing it is Fryeday
