If you will pardon the off topic subject for a moment. I invite those with an interest in cycling, touring, and adventure to aquaint themselves with my son William and his two friends website(blog) at quehubo.info. The three of them plan upon departing Alaska via the State ferry in mid January for Bellingham, WA. From there they will spend the next approximately nine months pedaling their way to Bogota, Columbia. Though not driving a Vanagon they do share with us a lust for adventure and travel. They plan to update their travels at least weekly dependent upon internet access and may take short side trips along the route. Should any list members along the west coast or in Central America come across three pedalers from Alaska please take a moment to say hi to them and maybe offer assistance in needed.

Thanks, Mark in AK
