Yep, it's hard to believe and this is why I will never sell my Westy. Number 1, I live full-time in mine (10+ years now), so it's my only home. Number 2, because of my full-time living there's probably a bit more wear and tear on the interior than most others, so I know down the road I will need to invest some cabbage to bring the camping area upholstery back to pristine condition, but mechanically its doing pretty good for it's age and use, exterior could use some redux down the road, dents and paint, etc. But it's gotta be worth something - I had an offer for $10K at the Jerome Jamboree in its "as-is" condition, even though I probably wouldn't get more than 5 or 6k as it is right now. I only paid $1000 for it in 1997 with a blown engine (rod thru the top of the crankcase). $1900 later with a fresh 2.1 conversion I was on my way then. A valve job (#3) and a fresh auto trans 5 years later she's still going strong at 160K and counting.
