Hi Jeff,

Is the idle stable, and at what RPMS?

Another question: What happens to the noise if you stay in park and increase the revs on the engine while standing on the brakes?

Idle in gear working against the brakes is usually 100-150rpm lower than in neutral or park. If you increase the RPMS with a light touch on the accelerator it might smooth things out enough to make the rumble go away. In which case just increase the idle a bit.
