I drive to see my Mom in Nebraska. It IS pretty boring. Nothing worse than having to take I35 north from Texas through Kansas. Nothing to see on the turnpike. Sometimes the most direct route is taken due to time contraints, but Nebraska is not so bad if you take alternative routes. Even Oklahoma has some nice scenic drives. Try I29 in Iowa near Nebraska border...that is pretty bleak. Michael in San Antonio 91GL AT 'Gringo' 73 Beetle
