Not a problem- see your owner's manual. We ran ours at 3/4 scale for hours on a searing July day driving through Missouri.

Of course, If the gauge goes full scale and the light flashes, _ then_ you're in deep doo-doo. (can I say that?- Oh wait, I just did!)
