All good points. I need to move the tube into the correct place. If I disconnect the e-brake at the lever (from inside the van), I wonder if I can pull it back and then thread it back in place so it's UNDER the crossover tube. I'm not sure I have enough play to do that. It looks like it's part rod and part cable before it makes the bend under the van. The other option is to disconnect one side of the crossover tube. This may be the easiest solution. Undo the right side of the tube (passenger side), rethread, then reattach. I'm not sure, but I think I can do all that through the wheel well.
