I hadn't done that, and tried doing it recently and the screw was rusted to what it screws into, so the screw head came off. I took the drain hose off the back and pulled this bulb and there was indeed water in it. I ended up ordering another from Go Westy, which "kit" has everything you need to replace the entire drain system, even the under-van cap that screws onto the plastic drain there, AND which other end screws onto the under side of the van so you CAN'T lose it when you unscrew it while using the sink drain feature. Also has a new drain hose, and the part that attaches to the bulb/P-trap that unscrews from the SS drain flange that you can see looking into the sink. The P-trap components unscrew from that SS flange, in order to use all the parts in the GW Kit.
