Hi Roger, IIRC those fusible links are made of pure tin (melting point 232 C) which do not constitute as much of a fire hazard as brass (melting point >900 C) when they fulfill their function of melting. I'm sure those links are still available, certainly from Parts Place, maybe even from the dealer. Keep a couple of extras on hand in an unobtrusive brown manila envelope. Gary ps Happy trails!
