Tom..Mine cost roughly $1200 total plus what I spent on the charging
equipment.
A good week to stuff it in there...Below is Blake Heinlein's site with pics
and a good overview.
http://sites.google.com/site/blakeheinlein2/vanagon-airconditioning
I had a 134 leak and while its apart, am adding A fresh air hose to get some
flow thru air into the van as well. There are several things I have yet to
get to my satisfaction such as decent defrost vent setup..The radio sticks
out about 2" so I tweaked the shifter so I wouldn't hit it with my hand..Low
speed defrost fan is a tad noisy, but the floor/center is quiet on low..
little things that are fixable, but overall..I like it. I will try to take
some pics before I reassemble it and put it on a picassa site soon
