That might have been me. I set up my heat box to draw air in through side vents. Particularly with fresh air ram blocked. Here's some pics I threw up. Might shed some light http://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/HeatExchangeBox81WFan# Somewhere I have a video showing air flow when tested on bench. When fresh air ram was blocked even by 1/2, a lot of air was sucked in through the side vent holes. In theory it recirculates cabin air with fresh air duct closed or partly closed. I never did get around to making a proper control flap for fresh air ram, but did mount one that fit. It just sealed poorly and I got bored with the project. Neil.
