Save yerself the time, money and aggravation and just go to the dealer for the correct O- Ring. I did and they're cheep enough so I bought several to stash in my tool box.

861 819 297, around $3 each.

My local dealer actually had them on their shelf as they do a lot of heater core repairs. -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On Tue, Dec 1, 2009 at 4:45 PM, Robert Keezer <warmerwagen@yahoo.com> wrote:
