First you find a railroad. Then you follow it along until you reach Promontory Point, in your home state of Utahh. Look for something yellow and shiny. ....

Many spikes can be found along railroad rights of way or check with warren buffett to see if he as a few extras. He now owns BNSF.

I found mine along the UP tracks (union pacific) It wa just lying there waiting for a new life as a vanagon rescue tool. I slipped it in my pocket and whistled along my merry way. Pix of said spike to follow soon to your private email.
