Neil, what stroke is that motor? Trying to get an idea of the displacement. That hp/torque curve looks like something from a turbo diesel truck. I would have to agree with you, hp overkill, and enough TQ to kill your trans quickly.

Some specs for the EM100

EM100 Cylinder bore 100 mm Dry weight 296 lb. Dimensions LxWxH (inches) 22.8 x 41.3 x 18.5 Horsepower 325 @ 3,500 rpm Torque 664 lb.-ft @ 2,100 rpm Power density 1.1 hp per lb.

Overkill HP, but will the block fit?

I assume their EM65 would be smaller (not having 2 or more engines tandem via what I assume is some kind VC?)
