I powerwashed my engine last week with the result of having it run, seemingly, on less than 4 cylinders, sometimes "kick in" and run ok. checked all the plugs, all looked the same tan colour, cleaned and dried the inside of distributor, pulled and cleaned all electrical connections I could reach, including O2 sensor... one connection looked sketchy, that was the hall sensor at distributor. the rubber boot fell apart in my hands.

All connections that I was able to, I abraded with #400 silicon carbide paper then put back together with silicone grease. It seemed to have solved the problem.
