Good Morning

Sorry to say that our joy and happiness was short lived. Michael was taken to the ER this evening after dialysis because his foot has continued to worsen. The doctor thought it might be a blood clot but after test were made they have determined that it is vascular and so they transferred him to another hospital in Johnson City, Tenn to the Medical Center there. A surgeon was standing by for his arrival. Since he has had this problem with his foot for 2 weeks the local doctor was afraid that if they did not act quickly that he could loose his leg. Actually both of his feet are affected but only the left foot is giving him problems. His foot is swollen, nails are purple and his feet are so cold and painful. I can not see to drive at night and a snow storm is expected tonight and tomorrow. Michael insisted that I return home until tomorrow and family members will drive me. I have no clue where Johnson City, Tenn. is located. Will give you an update soon. Mary
