Check out my cabinet for my EV at http://www.feddishbasses.com/vw/eurovan.html . The only thing I would suggest is figuring out a better way to do the T molding than I did. I know Riemo sells a tool to connect to the Dremel that cuts a perfect channel. I'd look for something simular to that for next time.

I'm hopefully giing to ditch the passenger side cabinet I built in favor of a drivers side one that goes from floor to ceiling. I want to be able to slide a porta potty underneath and out of the way. The problem with the EV is the bed comes out all the way to the cabinet and if the bed is out you have to climb on the bed to get into the van and when you are there there is no place to move....

Has anybody constructed a wood (or other) dash topper? I've seen a few pictures but they've been short on details. I think I might tackle this during the winter and would like to see some more pics or even better plans!

Secondly I have an 86 Westy and was thinking of making a small portable cabinet to put behind the passengers seat. Maybe put an audio amp and a pair of speakers in, the top would I want to put a little area for my portable stove (I don't use the westy stove.... I know I know), some drop leaf side tables. The idea would be to have a little kitchenette to pull out at camp to use for cooking, playing some tunes, etc. Any thoughts?

Ryan
