Hi Pat,

To answer that last question:

The Otter is a Vanagon Westfalia; usually referred to here on the Vanagon list simply as a "westy".

Calling it a Vanagon Westy defines your ride specifically as a *Vanagon* westfalia (as opposed to a Splitwindow, Baywindow or Eurovan westfalia, and as a Westfalia camper conversion rather than a Riviera, sportsmobile, Country Homes or homebrewed camper conversion.
