You were right !!! Although the leaking coolant appeared to be coming from the oil cooler ( and I was convinced it WAS the cooler) I found out after swapping the cooler that it was NOT the problem. The oring seal on the water pump was the issue and coolant was getting by there and only looked as if it was dripping off the cooler. Thanks for all the replies..!! This is a difficult thing to diagnose b/c of tight access and limited visibility. -john > Never, urban legend.
